 Click here for more information. Christian education is available for all ages and is held in the Walter Bedford Moore Parish House adjacent to the Church. Christian Education is held from 9:30 - 10:15am on Sundays from the first Sunday in September through the third Sunday in May.
Journey to Adulthood (a.k.a. J2A), serves the middle school, junior high and high school students preparing for Confirmation. J2A was launched, with great success, at Good Shepherd in the fall of 1999. This program is designed to provide liturgical frame for the experience of young people in our modern culture, to celebrate their individuality and their creative potential and finally, to instruct them in the skills necessary for their successful adult participation in the church family and in society as a whole. The Nursery is well attended and a happy group. The children enjoy watching Bible based videos and stories to keep them busy. The Adult Class meets under a variety of formats for Bible Study, Church History, Ethics and others. |
Godly Play is a special environment for children where they can meet and worship God. Their experiences with sacred stories and liturgy nuture their faith. They are prepared to join in the full life of the worshipping congregation.
